Why use a blog?
I have added a title attribute to each of the blog links so that you can see their titles when you hover over the links.
There are a number of good reasons for us to use a blog in this course:
- it allows us to keep a detailed record of our reflections about our learning in the module and therefore improves our learning;
- through the use of the comment facility you can give and get feedback helping to build up new ideas..
What shall we do with my blog?
As well as commenting on my blog you will be setting up your own blog at Wordpress which you will use to report on your activities and reflect on your learning. You will have complete control over the design and use of this blog.
Links to all blogs will be placed in the navigation section of this page on the left.
We will also set up RSS feeds from all of our blogs so that we can easily see when they have been updated.
I have set up a blog on which I will post comments about the session and ask you to respond by using the comment facility.
Each week I will post:
- an invitation for you to comment on any aspect of the session that you think appropriate;
- my reflections on how I thought the session went and how we might modify it to make it better;
- any additional posts that might be specific to particular activities we have done in the session
On your part I will expect you comment on each of the posts giving a considered reflection on what you think about the question presented. You should as a minimum indicate that you have read the post and that you agree or disagree with the ideas put forward or you give some answer to the question posed.
